Reciprocity may seem like an attractive tool to organizations. However, reciprocal relationships can severely damage the environment that a purchasing department has spent years building and expose the organization to legal liability and risk. This session explores the laws regarding reciprocity, guidelines for dealing with it and how a company can protect itself. Reciprocity concerns involving codes of ethics, policies and procedures and contractual provisions will be discussed.
